    We are pleased to announce launch of Season 18 Part 2-2 | Character Renewal open test version available to our active subscribers of Premium Plus package (future Suite Plus)

    New update changes

    The update brings number of new features and extends range of existing once.

    Networking layer performance improvement

    Apart of the new content the update brings crucial improvement on network communication layer that increases the performance meaningly. The communication has been replaced with cross-platform solution.

    Licensing Terms Changes

    On the top of the game content update, we introduce changes to our licensing terms agreement. The Premium Plus package is discontinued on the terms it was offered with and replaced by Suite Plus that introduces update to existing license agreement. Previously upgrades to new game seasons were included in price for any active subscriber of Premium Plus.

    The Suite Plus will be offered from our store with actual game season that will be described within the Suite Plus offer page. Upgrades to new seasons will be available for purchase from License Manager within next 3 days about what we will inform you in separated topic. Each new buyer will be granted with 3 months of free upgrades to next season (availability of new season is not guaranteed in particular periods). Cost of each upgrade will depend from content of the update, however maximum price should not exceed €150.

    I have Premium Plus, what next?

    Every subscriber, either active or not, of Premium Plus will continue to use the software normally without any changes or interruption to existing and future servers based on hosted version. Additionally, every customers who will decide to renew existing subscription of Premium Plus agrees that enters into new licensing agreement and switches to Suite Plus that opens access to Season Upgrades panel, officially named Season Pass.

    All season upgrades are optional. At the same time we extend support of previous Season, as the upgrades are coming. The first season after latest available will continue to receive maintenance bug-fixes and security updates until next season upgrade (aka Season Pass Level) version, example:

    Current version is S18 P1-3. As soon as S18 P2-2 will become stable version the S18 P1-3 becomes first season after latest. That means S18 P1-3 will continue to obtain updates until release of stable version of next Season, e.g. S19 P1-1

    Test Versions

    The test version will be available for any subscriber of Premium Plus (future Suite Plus) regardless of purchased season pass (upgrade) level, however will be limited in time (that can be extended as required) and shut down automatically upon expiration date of test period. The open availability of test versions allows to get familiar with new content and perform required test.

    Change of approach

    All future test versions will be provided by us close to complete and tested versions, however versions that still may have issues, therefore we appreciate any feedback posted within our bug tracker thank to which we can eliminate eventual problems and prepare stable release.

     

    All changes take effect from 27.06.2023.

    I didn't understand regarding the package change.
    Will we have to pay for the season update every time a new season is released?

    An example:
    Will season 18 part 2-2 come at a cost?
    Or will changing the package also have a cost? whenever a new season is released?

    Is that ok and will this be done from the control panel itself?

    Will the frame rate at 60 FPS and the remote mobile function be included in season 18 part 2-2 updates or will you sell this as an additional plugin?

    Another question, if a customer decides not to update seasons, how will support and updates for very old versions be maintained?
    Example:
    Season 16, 17 we don't have any more updates as they have been discontinued, let's say season 18 part 1-3 is discontinued would this force the customer to pay for the next season?
    Or will that also change? From now on, seasons will receive updates and support normally regardless of season or version. ?

    Awesome news, IGC team! Nice job, keep it up!

    A few questions:

    1) Will we receive any graphics performance improvement to PC client or this new communication protocol is just to enable cross-platform support + network layer improvements? In other words: can we expect any FPS improvement to PC client?
    2) Do you guys have any ETA for the mobile client test version? Since it's a new client, as soon as the community starts helping, faster we will get it ready for production
    3) Will this new communication protocol enable the Linux-based servers applications?
    4) With this new solution, can we expect any open-door to develop new custom features by our own? I think the community would get stronger with that possibility. You guys could charge for a premium client with that embed solution perhaps.

    1. Won't have negative or positive impact on game client performance
    2. Maybe some new sneak-peak in few days but we do not have more information about mobile client as of now
    3. In it huge step forward Linux based serer, however there are still challenges that need to be resolved before switching

    Great! I know its been just few hours from the release but do we have any ETA for the toolkit to support item.bmd and cashshop battlepass vouchers? At the moment i get error when im trying to edit them so we will need an update on the toolkit

    So basically no changes, just an extra charge upon season upgrade for the new development? Seems fair. 

    Perhaps this is offtopic but is it possible to send an email/notification when the license is expiring? My server shut down some time ago because I forgot to renew it, i know its on me but when buing 6 months+ in advance it can happen. I mean, we do have email notifications for all forum posts, just curious if this is an option since you're changing the interface of licensing panel. like "Remind me X days before" checkbox or something.

    1) Latest version is 18.1.3.19S and in a Bug Tracker post I've made, you said it will be fixed in .20S. Will 20.S still be coming soon or it will be replaced directly for 18.2.2.X ?

    2) For people who has been paying Premium Plus, the upgrade to Suite Plus will be automatically or we will have to it ourselves?

    3) Suite it's gonna be the same price as Premium?

    Renewal invoice is auto-generated a week before expiration date and you should get 3 reminder emails about that. I suggest to check your notification settings, it is possible you opted-out email communication or changed your notification preferences.

    The main post described clearly what are supported versions. latest and previous.

    No special action is required from you. It is enough you will continue to renew - also explained in main post of the topic.
